Sexual Assault Arrest
On February 28, 2014 at approximately 0730 hours the Ledyard Police Department Patrol and Detective Divisions, along with the Ledyard Resident Trooper, served an arrest warrant that was the result of a sexual assault investigation.
James Matthewson DOB 10-16-1984 of 41G Flintlock Road Ledyard, CT was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault 1st Degree (4 counts) and Risk of Injury to a Minor (5 counts). Matthewson was held on a $500,000 bond and will be presented for arraignment at GA 10 in New London.
